A Retrospective:
Three Days of Craziness

November 12, 2010 - Comments

What a ride! Although we worked hard to make Wunderlist and our company website a good user experience for you, we didn’t imagine the number of positive reactions that are coming over us right now.

We thought you might want to know a little bit more about what is going on behind closed doors in our office. So here we are, giving you some insights of how things are going. Hold on tight :)

Everybody Loves Charts

Three days ago, we launched our brand-new website and our first product Wunderlist. We began spreading it on Twitter, on Facebook and wrote an email to all cool tech blogs that we wanted our story to be published on. Additionaly we submitted the design to all of the web design and CSS showcase websites that we love. All in all, there was a whole lot of stuff to do, and it was about 5 am in the morning here in Berlin, when we fell asleep. We had just a small number of visitors. Most of them were our friends and ourselves. At 10:48 am Christian send me a message: “Wir gehen ab!!!” (German for “We start rolling!!!”). Finally, visitors started to stumble upon our page. Well, not stumble, just… stumble.

Then at 1 pm Robin Wauters (Blogger at TechCrunch) tweeted: “Absolutely stunning website imho” and we were happy as hell.

Twitter Rocked The House

We did expect to get some mentions on Twitter, but reality was even better. There were many retweets and much, much love for Wunderlist, not only in Germany but from all over the globe. Here are a few of our favorite tweets.
