Today officially marks the arrival of Wunderlist 2 on all your iPad devices. So what are you waiting for... Go download Wunderlist 2 for iPad, NOW! (But first please make sure you read the important note down below.) — While you pop into the App Store or head over to our website, we are going to wait for you right here.

That was quick, welcome back! We know that you’ve been eagerly awaiting the arrival of Wunderlist 2 on iPad, so let’s get started.

Gone Native Wunderlist 2 for iPad is one super sized update. We’ve now shifted to an all-native universal app for both the iPad and iPhone. What does this mean exactly? Well, we’ve done a lot of work under the hood! Test it out. Once you’ve logged in, you’ll first notice the subtle but distinct boost in speed and quantum leap in performance - not to mention the silky smooth transitions as you glide through your lists. What’s more, this work will allow us to provide you with updates and new features on a faster and more regular basis, so buckle up!

Today, you can expect a host of new features. Just take a look at the Detail View. Here you will find Reminders, Recurring Tasks, Subtasks, and Notes. But, this is just the beginning, even more functionality will be added here in the near future!

If you want to get a quick overview of your Wunderlist account just head to the Activity Center. The Activity Center captures all your activity. We’re talking list invites and updates or edits that have been made in your shared list. You can also select to be kept informed by push and email notifications.

Oh, it’s now even easier to email or share a list with friends and colleagues. Just start typing their name or email and we’ll find them for you straight from your Address Book or if you prefer, your connected Facebook account - all without ever having to leave the app. Pretty clever, don’t you think?

Under the magnifying glass Now, let’s take a closer look at Wunderlist 2 on your iPad Retina display. From the fine paper texture and pictograms in the the sidebar, to the sheen of the ribbon when you star an item. Each pixel has been carefully crafted into place to give you one of the most gorgeous Wunderlist experiences.

The road ahead With your iPhone, iPad, Android Phone & Tablet, Windows PC and Browser up and running with Wunderlist 2, you might be wondering what’s coming next. As promised, we’ve already been working hard away at the next round of features and improvement for Wunderlist 2. There’s a lot more in store for 2013 so stay tuned.

Important: This app can be found as “Wunderlist” in the App Store. It does not replace the original “Wunderlist HD” app on your iPad. If you are using Wunderlist HD on your iPad, please make sure to first synchronize your account. If you are using Wunderlist HD without an account, make sure to register first in Wunderlist HD. Otherwise, you could lose your data. After registering in Wunderlist HD, you can log into the same account in Wunderlist 2 and find your data.
